  • Pet travel is a project in itself, or certainly a hefty chunk of the pre-travel to-do list. Depending on the country or state you’re traveling to, there may be several milestones to consider that may take weeks or even months to achieve. A timeline is a must. Allow me to create one for you to implement. Let’s meet to discuss the move needs, and then you will receive a tailored timeline + a call to review. The timeline will be sent both in Google Docs and PDF format.

    Items needed from you:

    1. Vaccine records (current rabies, annual vaccines such as DHP for dogs/FVRCP for cats, microchip number, and chip implant date if known

    2. Your target travel date (mo/yr)

    3. Where you are traveling to/from (city/state/country)

    What you will receive:

    1. Expert-created customized travel preparation timeline detailing all milestones required to meet your target travel date based on your pet’s current medical records

    2. Expert review of vaccine records and blood test results (if applicable) - does your pet’s rabies vaccine certificate include the manufacturer and lot # for example?

    3. Scheduled consultation call (via Zoom) to review the timeline with a follow-up email to recap (can record and share the Zoom review call upon request)

    Great for in-cabin, excess baggage, or ground travel.

  • Some countries require a pet import permit which can take anywhere from a few hours to months depending on the country to obtain. PTMC partners with agents across the globe who are well-versed in the application processes.

    Items needed from you:

    1. Vaccine records that meet permit application requirements

    2. Blood test results (if permit application requirements)

    3. Your target travel date (mo/yyyy)

    4. Personal information (passport bio. page, visa copy etc.).

    What you will receive:

    1. Required import permit to enter your new country

    Great for in-cabin or excess baggage travel.

  • Pet travel involves some combination of documents: vaccine certificates/pet passports/vaccine cards, blood test results, proof of parasite treatments, permits, health certificates, and a ministry of agriculture endorsement may be needed.

    Items needed from you:

    1. Vaccine records (current rabies, annual vaccines such as DHP for dogs/FVRCP for cats, microchip number, and chip implant date if known

    2. Blood test results (as needed)

    3. Your target travel date (mo/yr)

    4. Where you are traveling to/from (city/state/country)

    5. Personal information as needed to obtain permits if applicable (passport bio. page, visa copy etc.)

    What you will receive:

  • If you’re looking for full move support and management, then this service offering is meant for you. PTMC will consult with you on import/export requirements and then create a plan to meet your target travel date. PTMC then partners with and manages communication with agents in your origin and destination cities to implement the move timeline. It truly does take a village to complete a safe and successful pet travel, and I am here to expertly guide the timeline all stakeholders are following.

    Items needed from you:

    1. Scheduled consultation call (via Zoom) to discuss move needs

    2. Travel crate consultation

      1. Applicable to pet dogs - A, B, C, and D dimensions as outlined by the International Air Transport Association

    3. Vaccine records (current rabies, annual vaccines such as DHP for dogs/FVRCP for cats, microchip number, and chip implant date if known

    4. Blood test results (as needed)

    5. Your target travel date (mo/yr)

    6. Where you are traveling to/from (city/state/country)

    7. Personal information as needed to obtain permits if applicable (passport bio. page, visa copy etc.)

    What you will receive:

    1. Before services begin, you will receive an estimated ballpark based on the location you are traveling to/from, pet breed, and number of pets

    2. If the ballpark aligns with the move budget, I will quote and create the move plan proposal with local partners

    3. Payment link after proposal review

    4. Project coordination and management of local partners in both your origin and destination country, ministries of agriculture in both countries, customs officials in both countries, and a pet-safe airline 

    5. Travel kennel recommendation

    6. Expert review of vaccine records and blood test results (if applicable)

    7. An expert-created timeline detailing all milestones required to meet your target travel date

    8. Scheduled timeline review call (via Zoom)

    9. Export and import permits (if applicable)

    10. Health certificate exam management and booking, transport to/from residence, and coordination of sample health certificate + verification with the clinic (based on the location of the pet)

    11. Quarantine booking and payment fee coverage (location-based)

    12. Ministry of agriculture endorsed documents

    13. Manifest cargo flight booking and airfreight fees

    14. Local agent to collect from home and transport to flight check-in

    15. Pre-check-in care and manifest cargo check-in services 

    16. Pet transit tracking and coordination with local agents

    18. Customs clearance with expert customs broker

    21. NOTE: Additional services available include boarding, grooming, prescription food sourcing, etc.

    This offering utilizes manifest cargo as the mode of transport and our contract will include the cost of airfreight taxes and fees.
