Excess baggage, in-cabin, manifest cargo, ground travel - which is best for you and your family?

There are various ways a pet can travel from A to B. Let’s connect on what will be the best option for you and your family. We can discuss the various modes of transport available, whether your destination country requires your pet to arrive via manifest cargo, what type of travel will be best for you and your pet, and how to ensure your pet has a safe and healthy travel experience regardless.

In 2019, I had a hassle-free experience relocating Mythos from Turkey to the UAE. The process was seamless, thanks to Kelcey, who led the relocation team with professionalism and care. She ensured every detail was handled efficiently, providing constant updates and guidance throughout the journey. Kelcey’s dedication and expertise made what could have been a stressful process smooth and worry-free. I am truly grateful for the exceptional service and support she provided, ensuring Mythos arrived safely and comfortably to his new home.

When we moved to the Middle East in 2018, we were in desperate need of assistance with moving our dog. We didn’t even know where to begin. After one phone call we knew we were in the right hands. We had to travel ahead of our pet, due to incoming country restrictions, but Kelcey took care of all of the paperwork, travel arrangements, and transport to ensure our precious Pandora arrived safe and sound in her new home. We can’t thank you enough!

I recently retired and relocated to a beach house on a southern Philippine island from the cold climate of northern Ontario, Canada. Couldn’t leave my two beloved 6 yr old cats behind so as much as it stressed me to consider putting them through the extreme anxiety of traveling half way around the world in a cage as cargo (traveling in the passenger cabin was not possible), I chose to relocate them over with me. After spending a confusing and frustrating month trying to ascertain the paperwork and process required to bring my cats to the Philippines I needed help. A random Google search brought me to Kelcey Shafer. She responded to my inquiry promptly and though she offered the complete package including arranging all transportation needs all I needed was the documents required and understanding of the bureaucratic requirements for my cats to enter the Philippines. She was more than willing to help and in a very friendly and professional manner had the process figured out to me outlining in a very understandable fashion the veterinary requirements from my end and the documents required from the Philippine side. All this was done and completed in a month’s time, I was impressed considering the little progress I had made trying on my own. Just as importantly in our conversations and interactions she was very reassuring that relocating pets was not an overly risky endeavour and was indeed fairly common in this day and age with no harm done to the animals. This gave me great comfort.

I have now been in the Philippines for over a month and my two cats are happy as ever chasing big bugs and gecko lizards on my large beach front property, no more 7 months of being house bound suffering through another long Canadian winter. Despite being over 30 hours in their separate, nicely sized traveling cages in cargo alone the cats seemed no worse to wear upon arrival. Tough and stoic creatures cats are. When informed everything was just fine with the cat’s relocation Kelcey seemed genuinely happy about the news.

I would highly recommend Kelcey for pet relocation services, she was top notch for me. From responding quickly, her very friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable manner, to getting things done quickly, she’s a champion in my eyes. And through all this you could tell she has great compassion and love for animals. Thanks so much again Kelcey.

We moved to Italy and of course our pup needed special attention. This was a long trip and we had to be able to truly trust someone with our pup. He is anxious and doesn’t do well without us BUT Kelcey was amazing. She answered all our questions, she addressed all our concerns and she provided us with an amazing staff that watched over our pup. We got step by step instructions and updates with pictures. She was so responsive and had a trusted team to support us. We trusted Kelcey so much that when we had to return to the states we contacted only her! This was a hard trip back for our pup but she placed him with loving and caring handlers. We got videos and pictures constantly and this allowed us to concentrate on our return. I would not trust anyone else with our pup. Kelcey was an angel and so patient with us. I highly recommend her and her services. You won’t be disappointed.
